I order the engine cover from Ali Express but it came by itself, no clips or bolts

My engine has 3 locations where the engine cover "SHOULD" snap into the holes. Does the cover you ordered not have three 1/2-inch studs that clip into the 3 holes?
I didn't take pictures of the cover before install, but from what I remember, there might be 2 studs you attach to the engine and one stud gets attached to the cover, or vice versa? Anyway, all parts were included and it wasn't hard to figure out.
It's my daughters car that I rarely drive. I think there was a small improvement in noise, but I'd say mostly cosmetic.
Personally, I never cared for the Hog hair insulation but the rodents love to use it for making their homes for keeping warm in the winter also it keeps the heat in the engine compartment just like the stupid-looking engine "beauty covers" if you think they look better than your engine that is I will not be putting either on my Cross maybe they leave them off to trim the cost as well as the compartment temps down

I bought one myself. Looks amazing, luckily I came across the silver color and it matches the pearl white color for my Cross.
Do you know if the engine cover would fit the hybrid version?
Hey quit complaining, the next car you buy will likely be made of plastic and you'll be paying a monthly fee for a steering wheel and radio because climate change and systemic racism...

I wonder if the hood may be prone to heat/paint damage over a longer term without the insulation?
i like the hood insulator, but it isn’t listed for a 2023. does anyone know if it would fit? is there any difference between the 22 and 23?

I would be very surprised if it didn't fit just perfect.
Auto parts databases anywhere aren't very well kept up-to-date or cross-referenced very well. When I bought the OEM hood insulator pad for my 2020 Corolla SE sedan, I was told that it only fit the XSE trim & wouldn't fit. It was a perfect fit for my SE & every other sedan/hatch non-XSE trim for that TNGA gen as it turns out, regardless of what all the parts site indicated (the XSE was the only trim that had it as standard factory equipment though).
Had the same "it doesn't fit" situation with my 2015 Yaris SE hatch back in the day, where I was told that the TRD rear sway bar I wanted wouldn't fit my 2015-2018 gen Yaris hatch - just the original gen Yaris 2006-2008 gen hatch. Turns out, it was still a perfect fit for every authentic Yaris hatch (not talking about the rebadged Scion/Mazda version "Yaris" that was also sold from 2016-2020/2021) up to & including the final gen US model year hatch in 2018 for the authentic Toyota-designed/built Yaris - since the core chassis & mechanicals remained unchanged from 2006 to 2018 on that vehicle, despite 4 generations of exterior bumper, panel, lights and/or cosmetic refreshments.
Same situation with my 2022 Mazda CX-30. Literally every OEM & aftermarket place has told me that products/parts I was interested in wouldn't fit my 2022, but they are all listed as fits for the 2020-2021 CX-30. Yet, everything fits just fine when I purchase them anyway, because nothing significant has changed between 2020 & 2022 models. But, with regards to hood insulator, Mazda wasn't cheap/tacky & includes it on all their trims as standard equipment.
I'm currently shopping around for a new, more robust non-OEM replacement battery for my 2022 CX-30 (with its mediocre 520-CCA fatory battery) & guess what? Again, literally nothing will fit a 2022 CX-30 apparently (per the various websites), but plenty will fit its twin 2021 CX-30 sibling just fine.
Same old tired song.
Any update on this?
