For wheels, wouldn't wheel locks be a solutiion? Not sure what is meant by window smash.

All of our dealerships sell "Smash and Grab", which is a film applied to the inside of all windows except the windscreen / windshield as it contains a similar layer of plastic laminate between glass layers. The film is offered in different tints to hide valuables inside from sight by opportunists. Going too dark is not legal here.

The purpose of the film is mainly to prevent traffic light thieves with a screwdriver willing to smash a window to grab, say a cellphone off a seat.

Yes, it is for USA market only.
Because we have physically tested over 800 different Toyota vehicle models in USA, the CAN Bus protocol could be different between USA and other countries. For this reason, we have specified the smart sensor is for USA market only. However, several of my clients in Canada have tested it on 2025 4Runner, and 2024 Tacoma and worked sucessfully.
