Anyone know how many Crosses have been manufactured/sold in the US so far this year? Given the following:

• I live in a big city and I've only seen 3 other Crosses since July.
• The Cross forum and subreddit activity are at a trickle.
• The reported wait times for a Cross across the country are mostly still in the multi-month range.
• New inventory listing turnover on dealer and auto sites is at a crawl.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear there are far fewer being built than Toyota originally had planned.

I've been told only two were sold in my small FLA county. Originally Toyota said they planned to build 150,000 Cross's in the new Alabama plant. LOL.

I read somewhere that Mazda is having trouble hiring for the Huntsville plant, and Toyota likely is having the same problem. I think (hope) that hybrid orders will open in the new year.

From the Oct 3, 2022 Toyota sales report, Corolla Cross sales:
--Month of September, 2022: 6,465
--Year to Date (Jan-Sept 22): 37, 521
Guess at annual sales for 2022: 58,000 units.
Factory Capacity: 150,000.
Factory utilization = 38.6% (I've also read the reports Dave L read).

My salesman said that hybrids use twice as many chips as gasoline cars and with chips still being in short supply car manufacturers are not making them now. No idea if this is true.
