Toyota app issue?

Hi all! I got my LE Cross yesterday and I'm so excited! My dealer told me about all the great features of the Toyota app, including lock/unlock and auto start, etc. I signed up, scanned my vin, and all was well. It said it couldn't connect, but suddenly today it is picking up my tire pressure and odometer. However, there are no lock/unlock buttons or status like in the google pictures I found that show "vehicle status: parked and locked" etc..
Mine looks like this. Does anyone know how to properly connect it, or is this an app technical issue?

It may have something to do with the package level you bought. I have the XLE with JBL 9 included. I think mine is free for a year. Did you pay anything for subscription service when you signed up?
You have to have the jbl premium sound system for those features.

I think after October I will have to pay a yearly subscription to keep all my features. Sad but I like these features so will have to decide if I really want to pay extra for them. I would still be able to start it with the remote but could not do it from inside my work. Line of sight only.

i don't have that function too, i contact toyota and confirm only with some model, for sure not in LE model
Does the Toyota app just NOT work with th LE AWD?

oh well, i wish i know that JBL needed in order to get those function, anyway, too late now....
