I'm on the waiting list for a CC hybrid in Canada and have seen videos of European CC hybrids that have a spare tire. Does anyone know if a spare tire will be included (or at least an option) on North American CC hybrids? I would much prefer a spare tire and jack to a trunk full of styrofoam and a can of Fix-a-flat! Thanks!

I also would strongly prefer a spare tire over a Fix-a-Flat...BUT...Toyota has been unusually "tight-lipped" about the new Corolla Cross Hybrid (the Toyota website says "late spring 2023"). They've announced and debuted several models (Crown, Prius, GR Corolla etc.) since they showed off the prototype CC XSE in Austin, TX 1 June 2022...but nothing about CC Hybrid since. Inquiring minds want to know!!

Ciao. I can own an Hybrid AWD in Europe. I can tell you that there is not the option on any of the variants due to a cable coming thorugh the place for the spare tire. I think in time will come out some customs to make it happen for at least a reduced dimension one. Also no possibilities to hang it below.
