"When the system detects a change in direction, it will activate a cornering light and adjust the direction of the beam to illuminate more of the road around corners and curves. By angling the headlights in the direction of travel, the Toyota Adaptive Front Lighting System will widen the area that the headlights cover and illuminate the direction of travel rather than just the sides of the road. Additional light will make hazards or deer on the side of the road more visible and will help keep you safe."
