A quirk of mine is checking paint jobs on various cars. Without getting into a description of orange peel on car paint, Google it to find out. Basically it diminishes the clarity of the paint. Most cars have it in varying degrees unless it is a Ferrari or Mercedes. My 2003 & 2011 Camry, & 2014 Sienna had very little. I just took delivery of my 2023 Cross which has very bad orange peel which I am not happy about. With present day painting technology I don't understand It. This would not be a big deal to most people but this is not in keeping with Toyota quality control.

Not defending Toyota in the slightest here but everybody has really lack luster paint jobs these days. It's almost a necessity to get paint correction done on a brand new car off the lot! I have a buddy that details supercars for a living and trust me, Ferrari is not free from this haha.
