I would love to see the 170 hp D4S and iMT 6 speed manual from the Corolla SE, along with at least the standard Dynamic Torque Control AWD and at least 8.0" of ground clearance, with some recovery points front and rear.
Make a viable alternative to the Subaru Crosstrek. That 6 speed iMT is tantalizing in the Corolla, but I need more crossover features as I like camping so put it in the Corolla Cross.
Actually, I think it would make perfect sense to offer it in the same trims and power trains as the Corolla. Just add AWD, and tow loops or hooks to drag me out of the snow if/when I do get stuck. The RAV4 also needs recovery points. Sooner or later, everybody gets stuck.
