HELLO HERE IS MY UPDATE

Hello, I have decided not to buy the car after further investigation shows that it was involved in a serious accident, 3 different owners, and a loan record.
I got my Information from Premium VIN

Hello!

I am looking to buy a used car and I have found a 2016 Toyota Corolla LE with a 1.8L L4 DOHC 16V engine and a salvage title. The price of the car is $12,300. Before I make a purchase I would like to ask the forum members if they think I should buy this car or not.

I am aware that buying a used car with a salvage title can be a risk. I have done some research and I am aware that there could be potential issues that arise from buying a car with a salvage title such as mechanical problems, legal issues, and difficulty in getting the car re-titled. However, I am also aware that the car may be a great deal and that there are ways to get a better understanding of the car’s condition before making a purchase.

I would really appreciate any advice or opinions that forum members may have about this purchase. If you think it is a good deal, please let me know, and if you think that I should pass on this car, I would love to hear your reasons why.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

How's this going Nathan?
You didn't mention the miles on the car, which matters.
Price seems a bit high unless the mileage is quite low.
Usually salvage title cars seem to go for more like 10k at that age.
Surely you can trace back, and find out why it's a salvage title.
Wrecked, but rebuilt by a reputable shop...might not be bad.
Flooded...RUN the other way, and don't look back!
See if the motor numbers match the car...or if it's been replaced with one from a junk yard.

I've known some folks that picked up some good cars with salvage titles...others not so much.
If you are inclined to tinker with the car a bit after the purchase, you will likely have a better experience.
It's likely that there may be some things pop up along the way depending on the degree of damage, and the skill of the people who fixed it.

I have no idea how CA is about salvage titles however. Do your homework.
