Hey @Teamdrive22 and welcome to the forum! Has your dealer mentioned when you should expect delivery?

At first, the dealer told me they could not give me any idea of when they thought it would arrive. In February, they had no 2022's of any toyota's in their lot. I pressed them and they finally said they would anticipate May at the earliest but probably June.

I either spoke to or visited the sales managers at 7 Chicago area toyota dealers. All of them had no 2022's in their lots.
All but two dealers would even order a Corolla Cross for me. The sales people at the dealers are very bummed out.
I'm staying close to dealers here in the chicago area and will report if anything updates.
I ordered the exact same model and color on Dec. 23, 2021. I was told initially that it might arrive at the dealer at the end of Feb., '22; that never happened. Yesterday they called and said they now have a start date to build for May 5th. We'll see....
Have you been able to take a test drive in the Cross? I have not, as there are only two dealers near me and neither has had a Cross on the lot. I was able to examine during the PDI inspection; it was pre-sold, and they wouldn't allow me to drive it, since the buyer was sitting in the finance office at that time. I'm somewhat concerned about the lack of power and acceleration noise. All reviews I've seen say the Cross is terribly underpowered. It might be a deal breaker for me.
The Corolla Cross engine is basically the same engine for all Corolla trim levels going back at least 5 years. They have not made any significant hoursepower improvements. I was curious myself as to response and noise, so I test drove a 2020 Corolla. Given the Chicago traffic, we don't have much opportunity to get above 40 mph. The tipping point for me is AWD for the 6 month Chicago winters. That is why I would like a Cross.

I been driving mine for 3 months. Drive is very smooth similar to a RAV4. It’s quiet, the power is decent. I have the AWD xle model. I really like it. My daughter’s is the white with macadamia interior. Mine is the Celeste.

Can you tell me if you still like the Cross? I've ordered one that won't be here until end of May, first of June - I've seen such bad reviews about noise and power level  Wanted to get an opinion of an actual owner.. Thanks so much!

Mine has road noise problems. I've yet to take it to the dealer though. The power is a lot less than my wife's Camry but good enough for me.

I really like the upgraded cruise control. I forget what it's called, but it maintains distance between you and the car ahead. Not a big fan of the lane assist, but it does reduce the fatigue from holding the wheel. I have a 30 mile commute and the cruise control and lane assist makes it much more tolerable than in my wife's Camry.

The moon roof is really loud when opened so I don't really use it.

Otherwise, I really enjoy my Corolla Cross.

I think you just might love it (if you don't care about 0-6 in 60 sec.). Got mine on Jan 15, 2022, loving every minute of driving it for the last 4 months. Used to drive a beemer so little disappointed in lack of quick kick when starting at stoplights ... but it looks n feels like a luxury suv. enjoy!

Does yours have 18 inch wheels? I've heard that the 18s produce more road noise, but I can't verify that rumor. Maybe others will chime in on it.
yah we got the xle which comes with the 18 in wheels but we both wear ear buds (pass-thru) when driving so we don't notice "road noise".. no wheels issues after driving in some rough roads tbh .. might just be rumors

fyi mine looks exactly like urs in top pix with bars and all!
I came from a Kia soul, Yes the acceleration is less but it's a great car. I feel like it's pepped up a little more after the 1k miles. I haven't had any issues from highways to city roads in my daily 65 mile round trip to work. I love the moonroof, never had one in my car until this one. To me it's not super loud but the wind noise doesn't bother me. I have yet to force the car into high rpms while getting on a highway so its a quiet ride. I would def buy it again. If you're getting crossbars for Kayaks, the factory crossbar can only do 1 kayak, if doing 2 save the $300 and spend the money on Yakima bars. I've heard they're almost selling to consumer soon.
