Let's please keep this thread updated as it is very informative. I ordered a Corolla on Jan 25th, was told "two months", and it's March 12th Days (1.5 months in), now I am aware it might be delayed however I would really appreciate if you guys continually post how many months it has been and you are still waiting. If you all could post when you get your car as well, that would benefit us all.
Is the car you ordered already built? If not, did they give you a build date?
No, the car I ordered is not already built. It has to be built. I called my dealership dealer today and he said he has a meeting on Tuesday (3 days from now) and he said that so far there is no production date for my car yet. He said come Tuesday's meeting, my car is on the list for status updates and he will update me Tuesday evening. I will post here after I get the update from him.
Update: dealer said my car should arrive by April 24th but there's still no production date. I will contact him mid April to see if there's a start production date. Its at 1 month delay so far. I see this going to a 2 or 3 month delay.
That's very strange with no production date and they said it will arrive on the 24th. I just saw something on Reddit that Toyota Canada is 3 months delay for crosses.
Apologies, I meant I did not ask the dealer about a production date, I was only given the expected arrival date. I will call about the production date ten days before the arrival date to confirm if the arrival date is legit.
How did you find out production date? My dealer isn’t great with communications. I paid a deposit on 3/4
You need to press your sales person. My salesman calls or texts me once a week with updates. Ask to speak to the sales manager at the very least.
Update: It arrived yesterday on 13th April 2022. 3 months wait. Not as bad as I thought.

I paid the deposit on 3rd Jan but still have no delivery date from dealership. I am in Ontario, Canada.
I paid my deposit on Jan 29/22, No delivery date although I was told 6-8 weeks upon signing and then when I asked about delivery (5 weeks after) I was told 4-6 months. I did get notification my veh was in production, but still patiently waiting for delivery..... I'm also in ON Canada.
Kamran, I put down my deposit back on March 5, 2022 (I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba). The dealer said 3 - 4 months for delivery of our vehicle (XLE AWD Blue Crush Metallic). I'm hoping sometime in July, so we can enjoy it for half the summer before winter arrives again!
