My manufacture date was week 31 (first week of August), no sign yet from the dealer or online inventory sites that it was built.
Jesus man that sucks. I’m starting to regret reserving one lolOrdered March 19, was informed last week expected delivery Oct 26-Nov 5
I'm told its because of sales volume in Canada compared to USA. We have a lesser allotment from Toyota. Yeah it sucksJesus man that sucks. I’m starting to regret reserving one lol
I’ve heard that too, that people in Canada are having a very hard time getting one. I’m hoping that the date they told me will be correct but I doubt it. Hopefully you’ll get yours soon.I'm told its because of sales volume in Canada compared to USA. We have a lesser allotment from Toyota. Yeah it sucks
Hopefully you’ll get good news and get your cross soon! I’m USA and being made in the Huntsville plant as well. I’m hoping to not have a delay but I’m doubtful about it.I finally have a sign that my LE AWD Cross may have been built: the temporary VIN no longer works on the Toyota site as of today. If that is actually the case, that would mean a 3-week delay from the original scheduled build date. Again, I am in the USA and the car is being built at the Huntsville, Alabama plant. Hoping I hear a confirmation of this from the dealer soon.
Good info Normroy. From Canada as well and placed my order a month later in April...this should give me more time to save for a bigger down payment. Yeah, Toyota is struggling with the chip shortage, heard earlier this summer they were going to have slash their production estimates.Ordered March 19, was informed last week expected delivery Oct 26-Nov 5
Awesome man! Congratulations! Enjoy it!I just heard from the dealer, my Cross has been built and they expect arrival the first week of September, maybe sooner!
Congrats! This is my first post here, so greetings to current members. I had done some research on the Cross and wandered into the dealership in Winchester (August 29) when I was in the area on an errand. I asked if they had one in stock to look at. They had 'one' on the lot with 3 miles on it. Red XLE with all the features except the JBL sound system and navigation. I drove it home the same day. Sharp little dude, quieter than the Tiguan I traded in and much more to my liking size wise. Just ordered a hitch and wiring kit for it.
Congratulations on getting your Corolla Cross @Red! What's stood out to you the most about it since you took it home? This is my first post here, so greetings to current members. It handles much better than 'expert reviewers' would have us believe. Stays flat in the corners, maintains speed up-hill when using cruise control, is quieter than the Tiguan on the highway, stock radio sounds pretty good, and, the main reason I was attracted to it, no turbo charger. Just a naturally aspirated 2.0L inline 4. Plus, the Corolla is the best selling, longest lasting car Toyota has made. This is the first Toyota I've purchased, but also looked at the C-HR and Corolla Hatchback as well. But I believe this is the better car, sizewise.Congratulations on getting your Corolla Cross @Red!
