Today I received a general email from Toyota and one item indicated that there is a firmware update available for audio module of the Cross. The release was in February, 2022. This link Audio Multimedia Update states
"To enhance the overall performance and provide minor changes and fixes to your Audio Multimedia System, software updates may be required. However, not all vehicles are eligible for the updates.
Click here to check and download Audio Multimedia Updates for your vehicle."

As a new owner I wonder whether recently produced Crosses already have this update? I'll see whether or not
my model ID is 19TDT0NA-EAPA or 19TDT1NA-EAPA and report my findings.

I haven't installed anything yet, but it appears to be a minor update. Check this link for details: Telematics Portal

I updated my 19TDT0NA-EAPA software today. Don’t notice much difference but audio is supposed to be better.

The TCC Hybrid for 2023 looks like it has a whole different head design (buttonless) which gives Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
