Sounds like you were running on fumes. According to the manual on page 394 you should have seen a "Low fuel level warning light" also. It is supposed to come on when there is about 2.0 gallons left in the tank. As you said, I think a trip to the dealer in in order.
Gas gauge
I have a 2023 LE and I noticed today that my gas gauge has barely moved and still on Full since I got my CC on March 7th and have gone 399 miles so far considering it is a 13.2 gal tank and should get est 30mpg, I should be on Empty. I tanked it up and it took 12 gallons, so it must be getting 33.25 mpg. I guess I'll have to take it to the dealer as I think something is wrong with the gauge. any comments?
