Its really not hard to chose from key factors come in play. gas mileage, size, cost. If one had to make a decision or another company offered waht would be the Ideal choice and why?

I love the Rav-4 its simular to size of our Crv, I love the Cross, it the same as our Corolla, I want to be higher up off the ground, in a safer car, I know 2026 in the rav-4 claim by writers 50 mpg and less control knobs. is hte waiting fast on the cross, the rav, which is hte better purchase overall. another car that I do not want to get into is the Hr-V as its less in mileage and caters to a lower profile.

Just my humble opinion and thoughts out loud.

For us in the hybrid, to go from the CCH to the RAV4 varies from 53% to 69% more whereas your hybrid increase is only 20% more.

Higher off the ground gives you more ground clearance if you go off-road and allows for seeing further down the road. There are some arguments against doing up: things like them swaying more in rapid lane changes due to the higher centre of gravity and higher accident rate, due in part to more weight with less ability to stop shorter.

The other stuff you mentioned contain the normal decision criteria.

Don't know if it matters but CCH is a Toyota 5th Hybrid generation (e-cvt with no belt and more) versus the current Rav4 which is the previous version less efficient. This means not only less gasoline consumption but also an improved reactivity to the gas pedal which gives you more fun to drive. Consider also that Rav4 is seeing the new model arrival on 2026 and therefore the value will rapidly decrease if you'll choose this model. Here in Europe we begin to see the 2025 CCH facelift but I don't know the current situation in the US.

I just can't get past that ugly (imho) colour-coded, hexagon perforated bumper instead of a proper grill in the 2025 - cheap, cheap, cheap.

A 10" infotainment screen (vs 8") might be nice, but unnecessary. The front parking sensor would be handy, if it detected parking kerbs / pavements / sidewalks. More torque is good.
