Are your foglights working?

I figured I'd start a thread about this in case anyone else has the same issue.
Just picked up a 23 XLE Cross in the US this week and realized when I got it home that the foglights don't come on. I've used the correct settings and turning the knob does turn the foglight indicator on the dash. The fuse is in place and is fine. Someone else posted on another forum that theirs was having the same issue and it ended up being a relay that hadn't been installed. I'm wondering if there was a batch of cars at the factory that they missed putting the relay in.

I have a 2022 Cross XLE FWD. Mine work. The fog lights only turn on when the headlights are on in the low beam setting. See page 184 in your owner's manual.
Yes I do have the settings correct and have read the manual. The fog light indicator comes up on the dash but the fog lights do not work. Gonna look further into it when I'm back from a trip. So far I've found one other person who had the same issue.
In this configuration of both switches they will work.

I would love it if turning the switch solved the problem, but I can assure you they do not turn on.

My Fog Relay seems to be somewhere behind the Glove Compartment or Upper Dash area behind the Instrument Panel .... I can hear it clicking as I on/off the Fogs but havent been able to pinpoint it yet.
I wonder if "checking to see that all the lights (including the fog lights) work" is on the PDI (Pre-delivery inspection) checklist? If yes, your dealership should have caught it!
I’d bring it back to the dealer and have them sort it out. It’s a new car with a warranty and it should work as described so let them deal with the issue.

Sound like a plan ..... like you said, new car and all.

But just for my own curiosity ... do you hear the relay clicking somewhere in the dash area as you turn the foggies on/off?

Thanks
I don't have any clicking relay sounds when I turn the switch

as an experiment, I removed the fuse and no more clicking noise (the dash light still comes on though) ... so even though your fuse is good it seems that the relay was never inststalled ... so yeah, best go see the dealer for a relay install

maybe something during pdi that was not done properly? very odd.
My 2023 XLE AWD had same issue, took to dealer and determined a relay was not installed at factory. Relay installed and is now working
