Amber tail light upgrade possible?

The red turn and hazard lights are infuriating. Ambers are more visible and safer. Seems like a cost-cutting measure. Euro spec Crosses have amber tail lights. Is it possible to upgrade the tail lights to amber hazards?

Yes, Amber turning lights are more visible and eye catching. Asia spec also have Amber turning lights. I want to have them too. May be we need to replace the whole module?

It is hard to tell, but it looks like the turn signal cover may be red there. Perhaps an amber bulb would be enough to get the effect?

Oh I guess they are clear in Asia. I would still try an amber bulb first.

I’m interested as well. Perhaps eurospec taillight upgrade? We might need the wiring harness with the signal bulb socket.
those are actually red. If you mind aftermarket taillights you can get these.

I think I'm going to spend $22 for a set of the bumper reflector replacements anyway.
Just about the cheapest way to add some additional visibility to the rear of my Cross.
Hopefully it's not too difficult to get to the wiring on the back-side of the OEM rear lights.?.
My 23 XLE has either all, or almost all LEDs back there, and they are pretty bright.
Not sure about the back-up lights.
Might take me a few weeks and some warmer weather to get them installed, but I'll report back.

I’ve also considered those illuminated rear bumper lights on my Camry Le. But warranty issues made me think twice.
Seriously?...Adding a pair of aftermarket LED lights to improve the visibility/safety of a visibly deficient vehicle would void the warranty?
I bet a lawyer would have a great time in court with that one!

You do have to tap to the oe wires to make those aftermarket lights work. If your car develops electrical problems along the way and Toyota sees those then don’t be surprised if they blame you for it. I think it’s written in the manual some where that using non oe equipment/accessories will void your warranty.
