Well ordered a spare tire from my Toyota dealer should be in soon I would think. Have to wait till I get that spare tire to decide how i will mount it. Also ordered the spare tire mount kit have not received it yet either shipping seems very slow these days.

Love the new Cross the suspension is a little stiff though.

 

Anyone deal with the spart tire issue in their Cross? I ordered a spare tire and rim. Have to wait to get them to measure the rim debt to know what plug kit to order so I can put the spare in the spare tire storage area. Just went to Falkner Toyota in Harrisburg PA where I bought the Toyota.
They said they will not install aftermarket parts. Since they do not make anything for the spare tire issue that is not right.
Looks simple to install should not have any issues except lifting the spare tire had two lower back surgeries. Will let an update if my rim and tire ever come into the dealer.

 

Same issue with the radio haven’t found a way to keep it off at startup. Also waiting on a spare tire setup. Let us know what works for you.

 

I switch off my radio by pressing the volume control and press it again to turn it on.

 

Well my wife has an older Toyota Corola her sizzler jack worked to lift the car and standard lug wrench works also. So I need to order the Jack will just put a socket and 1/2 long ratchet from my tool box into the Cross. I am 76 now but kept all my tools was an Auto and Body and Fender mechanic for 18 years till I went to work for the Army doing special modifications on Helicopters'.
Also been fighting Acute Lymbolastic Leukemia for 8 years now. The DR get rid if it but keeps coming back, Been dealing with it now again since last Easter. They had me on a chemo IV pump for three months 24/7 hope it stays away this time.
Hope my wheel rim and tire come in soon then have to measure and order the kit to deal with the plug issue. Semper fi

 

Ouch – Leukemia. Two of my relatives had a form. One has been in remission for over 15 years and the other made it into his 90s. The latter had an ongoing massive WBC count.

Regarding wheel spanners, I keep an extensible length driver and two rotatable sockets thus fitting four sizes. My wheel lock nut is a different size vs the actual wheel nuts. So, it works for me.
