My wing mirrors unfold when I press the unlock on the key fob and fold when I press lock. Unfortunately, it was a dealer set option, which I requested before leaving with my then new purchase.

We allow motorcycles to lane share. I have folded my wing mirrors to allow motorcyclists through so that they can proceed to the front of the queue at a traffic light (robot).

Mine fold about 90 degrees straight towards the window.

I recently sold my superbike. So, perhaps I'm more courteous to fellow riders.

I fold when I'm stopped and the rider is trying to clear their handlebars to weave between stationary cars to reach the front. One less wing mirror to contend with is often appreciated judging by the thumbs up I get.

Yes, I've seen that on narrow streets in Europe where people park half on the kerb / curb / pavement on one side only.
